Has this year escaped you? Are you in need of a weekend getaway immersed in a beautiful location with a focus on yoga, nutrition, and relaxation? On the 10th of November 2017, make the time to rejuvenate and reinvigorate on a 4-day Walking, Wellness & Yoga Retreat held at Spicers Canopy.

Guests will spend three nights at the unique and exclusive Spicers Canopy, a complete ‘glamping’ accommodation site with all of the added Spicers luxuries you know and love. The retreat is capped at a maximum of 15 people over this long weekend to ensure we can provide a quality, interactive experience with each of our guests.

Our resident yoga instructor Gabrielle McMahon, has been a yoga instructor for over 10 years and harvests an innate passion for general health and well-being. Gabrielle’s classes focus on Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Restorative, Breathing Practices and Guided Relaxation/Meditation.

Each day has been carefully structured to make sure our guests leave us feeling completely relaxed, rejuvenated and rested.  The 4-day itinerary can be seen below:

Day 1: – Complimentary transfers from Spicers Balfour Hotel (New Farm Brisbane) to meeting point (Clumber) or guests can elect to self-drive
– Transfer to the base of  Mt Mitchell
– Walk the tracks of Mount Mitchell (Graded as level 3 moderate- the entire walk back to Spicers Canopy will take approximately 6.5 hours)
– Enjoy a healthy packed lunch on the summit
-Make your way back down the mountain and enter Spicers Retreats private land to make your way Spicers Canopy
– Arrive at Spicers Canopy with refreshing drinks upon arrival
– Welcome circle
– Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and platter
– Dinner includes main and a light dessert

Day 2:
– Morning yoga session (approximately 1.5 hours)
– Breakfast (continental and hot)
– The Power of Pranayam – this includes a workshop & teaching breathing techniques
– The Art of Relaxation- this includes a workshop & the practice of Yoga Nidra and meditation techniques
– Lunch
– Guests have afternoon at their leisure around Spicers Canopy (hot tub, short walk, read a book or a foot indulgence)
– Afternoon yoga session
– Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and platter
– Dinner includes main and a light dessert

Day 3: 
– Morning yoga session (approximately 1.5 hours)
– Breakfast (continental and hot)
– Walk- location to be advised closer to the time of departure, weather dependent (lunch included on walk)
– Guests have afternoon at their leisure around Spicers Canopy
– Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and platter
– Dinner includes main and a light dessert

Day 4:
– Morning yoga session (approximately 1.5 hours)
– Breakfast (continental and hot)
– Farewell circle
– Complimentary transfers to Spicers Balfour Hotel ( New Farm Brisbane) or transfers to own vehicle

Pricing: $2,600 per person, Single Share (1 person per tent) or $2,375 per person, twin share per person (2 people per tent)

– Yoga classes x 4 (Vinyasa/Yin/Restorative/Pranayama/Yoga Nidra) All classes offered over the 4 days will be suitable for beginners, intermediate & advanced
– Workshops x 2  (Pranayama/breathing practice & Yoga Nidra/guided relaxation)
– Daily Pranayama
– Daily guided relaxation
– Hikes  x 2 (with hiking pack, water bottle, hat and coffee/ tea mug)
– Learn new skills to include in your daily life
– Foot indulgence- includes a foot soak with essential oils and foot massage
– Free leisure time around Spicers Canopy
– All meals and beverages (including alcohol) – We will be serving majoritively white meat throughout the experience
– Transfers return from Brisbane
